A man has been left injured after a reported assault in Newport. Officers were alerted to reports of an assault at around 1.30am on Saturday, July 23, at Le Pub, Newport.
An investigation has been launched as a result, and police are appealing for help. Specifically, they are seeking to find one man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
CCTV footage of the man has been released, showing him wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and having short dark hair. The footage shows him leaving the venue on his own.
A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: "We're investigating a report of assault after a man sustained injuries following an altercation in Le Pub, Newport, at around 1.30am on Saturday 23 July. Officers would now like to speak to this man, who they believe may be able to help their enquiries.
