Police have released CCTV footage of a man and woman they are hunting an incident during Celtic FC's title party.
Hoops diehards celebrated winning a second Scottish Premiership in a row after they defeated Hearts 2-0 at Tynecastle on Sunday, May 7.
Fans flocked to Parkhead in their thousands to toast an 11th championship in 12 years and welcome home their heroes as the footie stars returned from Edinburgh.
But police have since launched a probe into an incident during the raucous celebrations. And the force have identified a man and woman they wish to trace as part of their ongoing investigation.
The man had short, dark hair and in the image he had no top on but appeared to have a Celtic strip tied around his waist. The woman was wearing dark trousers and a blue hoodie and had long, brown hair.
Constable Daniel Brady of Police Scotland said: “We are keen to talk to this man and woman as we believe they may have information which could assist with our enquiries. Those pictured or anyone who may recognise them is asked to contact us.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact 101, quoting reference 2116 of 7 May. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111
