CCTV footage has been released of a man after a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.
A 999 response attended Holland Street after the alleged assault at 12.05am on Thursday, September 29. Medics attended and found a man with serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where his current condition is unknown.
Officers investigating the rammy have released images of a male they believe could assist them with their inquiries. He is described as being white, around 6ft 4in tall, of a medium build, with short, dark hair and around 25 to 35 years of age.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-coloured zipped hooded top, dark T-shirt, grey shorts and white trainers.
Detective Constable James Herbison, from Greater Glasgow CID, said: “This was a particularly serious attack in a busy area of Glasgow city centre which has left a man requiring hospital treatment. I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to the male, depicted in this image to make contact with the police.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 0038 of 29 September, 2022. Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
