While executing a drugs warrant, police found 15 cannabis plants and the electricity is suspected to have been bypassed at a property in Nottingham. Nottinghamshire Police executed the warrant on Thursday (June 30) at a house on Milverton Road in Bestwood Park.
All plants were seized and quantities of cannabis were found at the address. Police investigations are still ongoing. PS Taylor, Bestwood Neighbourhoods Sergeant, said: "Drugs, no matter the amount, have a determinantal effect on society and local residents. We will not tolerate this behaviour and will endeavour to bring offenders to justice."
Anyone with information in respect of drug production and suspected dealing in the area is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or email the local neighbourhood team at bestwood@notts.police.uk or bestwoodpark@notts.police.uk. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
