Police race to Balornock supermarket as pedestrian hit by car

A pedestrian has been hit by a car outside a supermarket in the Balornock area of the city.

Emergency services rushed to the scene outside the Co-op on Wallacewell Road around 7.40PM on Friday March 25.

The crash involved a car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has been taken to hospital for assessment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Friday, 25 March, police were called to the Wallacewell Road area of Glasgow, following a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

"The pedestrian was taken to hospital for assessment.”
