Police probe disturbing TikTok home invasion trend

The Metropolitan Police is investigating a disturbing TikTok trend that involves a group of youths filming themselves walking into houses without invitation.

In a recent incident that took place in an undisclosed location in London, three young boys left a couple terrified after forcefully storming into their home.

A chilling video clip captures the group walking past a woman in the front yard, before brazenly opening the front door and trespassing into the property.

The father of the household immediately confronts the intruders, desperately pleading with them to leave.

But one of the boys ignores his pleas and inquires “Is this where the study group is?” before taking a seat on the living room sofa.

It is only when the man reveals that he has children that the group begrudgingly decide to vacate the premises.

The Met Police said it is aware of the videos on social media but has not received an official complaint about the incident.

A spokesman for the Met said: “The MPS are aware of footage circulating on social media, however have not received any related reports at this time.

“Officers are conducting enquiries to establish the location and those involved.

“They are keen to speak to anyone with any information. Please contact police on 101 or via @MetCC.”
