The PSNI's North Belfast unit say they are dealing with reports of garden trampolines being lifted out of people's back yards and into the streets because of the extremely windy weather.
In a friendly but pleading tweet issued at 12:41 on Sunday morning, they said: "It's very windy out there. . . We are getting reports of trampolines being blown out of gardens and on to main roads. If you have one, you might want to make sure that it is as secure as it can be tonight."
The Met Office recently issued a yellow warning for windy weather in the region and this morning (Sunday) stated that there could be gusts in excess of 45mph until daylight, but thereafter the winds should settle to more manageable levels of around 8mph with gusts of up to 20mph.
