Police will patrol Sydenham over the "next number of evenings" after receiving several reports of items being thrown at vehicles and people banging on doors in the area on Wednesday night (August 24).
Patrols will continue to be conducted overnight by East Belfast Police, as the officers look to clamp down on the anti-social behaviour.
Last night's incident and the force's intended course of action in response was recounted on the official Police East Belfast Twitter account in a 12.03am post, which was accompanied by two pictures of officers on patrol in the area.
