Mourners across the globe watched the Queen's state funeral today, which ended with the late monarch's coffin being moved to St George's Chapel in Windsor where she will be laid to rest. While several royal fans watched the coverage from their homes, hundreds and thousands have travelled to witness the historic ceremony first-hand.
Royal fans lined the streets along the route from Westminster Abbey to Windsor Castle to bid a final farewell to Britain's longest-serving monarch, with many children gathering to pay their respects with loved ones. In a bid to keep little ones entertained, one policewoman was captured entertaining young children who were waiting to say their final goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II.

In the wholesome footage, which was posted to Twitter, onlookers praised Metropolitan Police, encouraging them to be "proud" of the officer who was seen wearing uniform.
The video showed the policewoman having fun with two young children while playing Pat-A-Cake.
The woman took to her knees as she joined in with the entertaining game, much to the children's delight.
Mourner Mark Schneider shared the "truly heartwarming moment" in a clip, which has been viewed over 20,000 times to date.
Mark captioned the post: "A truly heartwarming moment while waiting for the Queen's funeral today. This officer did you proud today @metpoliceuk #queensfuneral #QueenElizabethII."
Mark told The Mirror: "While waiting for the ceremony to stay, I hear the children laughing and turned to see the police officer playing with the two small girls. Such a joyous moment in times of great sadness."
He added: "It was a once-in-a-lifetime event. So many emotions - sadness, thoughtfulness, reflection. I am a scout and we make a promise to the Queen, so felt like I had to be there today."
The short clip - which has received more than 300 likes this afternoon - received praise from fellow users on social media.
"Just lovely to see," one social media user gushed.
Mourners turned up to witness the historical moment in their thousands, with some having travelled across the world to pay their respects to the monarch.
The state funeral is expected to be the most-watched global broadcast in history with figures predicted to reach approximately 4.2 billion watchers.
The Queen dedicated her 70-year reign to serving the country, so it was no doubt that the turnout for such a historic event could be a record-breaking one.
