Police officer collapses during Queen's funeral and is carried away on stretcher

A police officer reportedly collapsed while on duty for the Queen's funeral and had to be carried away on a stretcher.

The officer was assisted by colleagues and Royal Navy personnel after he fainted during the service in London.

An update on his condition has yet to be released, however it is not thought to be serious, the Mirror reports.

It comes just days after a royal guard collapsed while protecting the Queen's coffin and fell from the podium.

He was assisted by two nearby police officers after tumbling face first to the ground.
