Police name Haringey murder victim found dead in flat as man charged

Detectives have named a man killed in a north London flat as a suspect was charged with his murder.

Marvin Dickson, 40, was found dead at an address in Moselle Avenue, Haringey, on Friday 20 September.

Police were scrambled at 9.45pm and found Mr Dickson with fatal blunt force trauma injuries.

Dante Forrest, 36, from Moselle Avenue, was arrested in the Edmonton area on suspicion of murder.

He was due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court charged with murder on Thursday.

Mr Dickson’s family have been informed of the charge and are being supported by specialist officers.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.

A special post-mortem examination held on Sunday found Mr Dickson’s cause of death to be blunt force trauma.
