A teenage boy was rushed to hospital after being assaulted in the east end.
Police descended on Shettleston Road around 8.45pm on Wednesday after the incident unfolded.
Officers cordoned off the scene in front of Happy Chippy takeaway and the nearby Edrom Street while investigations were carried out.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where his condition is currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45pm on Wednesday, 7 June, 2023, police were called to a serious assault in the Shettleston Road area of Glasgow.
“A 17-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Enquiries are ongoing.”
