Police have been scrambled to an ongoing incident near to a Scots school.
Officers are currently in attendance at Lilybank Road and Glenpark Drive, near St John's Primary School in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde.
Images from the scene show multiple cop vehicles in attendance.
A cordon currently surrounds the two streets as uniformed officers carry out ongoing inquiries.
The pictures show the residential area closed down with road diversion signs in place.
Locals reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area from the early hours of this morning.
The nature of the disturbance is currently unknown.
The situation is currently blocking access to the nearby school, with parents urged to find alternative routes.
A statement from St John's Primary reads: "Due to an ongoing police incident, access to the school building is limited.
"Lilybank Road, the bridge, the hill at the Glen and the underpass are all closed.
"Please find alternative routes to the school and take care. Updates will be sent by text message."
