Police have launched an urgent search to trace a missing Irvine woman.
Melanie Gibson has been missing from the Carron Place area of the town since around 2.40pm on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old is described as being around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with long dark hair. It is not known what she is currently wearing.
Sergeant Melanie Fraser said: “I am asking anyone who may have seen Melanie since Tuesday afternoon or have any information on her whereabouts to please come forward.
“Likewise, if Melanie sees this appeal, please get in touch with either us or your family who just want to know that you are safe and well.
“If you believe you can assist our efforts to trace Melanie, please call 101, quoting incident 2877 of 28 September.”
