Officers have launched an urgent appeal to help trace a missing man who was last seen leaving his home in County Durham two weeks ago to go to work.
John Clayton was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, June 14 as he left his home in Durham to go to work. Durham Constabulary said officers are becoming "increasingly concerned" for the 50-year-old's whereabouts.
Mr Clayton is described as white with brown and grey hair and was last seen wearing a blue fleece, cargo pants, a dark t-shirt and Timberland style boots. He is also known to drive a black Ford Fiesta, police said.
As well as an appeal, Durham Constabulary also issued a photo of Mr Clayton and urged anyone who knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with the force.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Have you seen John Clayton? Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the 50-year-old's whereabouts. John was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, June 14 as he left his home in Durham to go to work.
"Mr Clayton is described as white with brown and grey hair and was last seen wearing a blue fleece, cargo pants, dark t-shirt and Timberland style boots, he is also known to drive a black Ford Fiesta. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact PC Wilson from Durham City response team on 101."
