Police have issued an urgent appeal to help trackdown the whereabouts of a 13-year-old girl who has been reported missing.
Shiffa Kasim, 13, was last seen by family at around 5pm last Tuesday (April 4) on Sandhill Road in Blackley.
While Shiffa’s family have made contact with her on the phone since the last sighting, there are concerns over her safety.
Shiffa is described as being 5’2” with long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue Under Armour jumper, grey cargos and black Nike Vapormax shoes.
Greater Manchester Police have appealed for anyone with information to share on Shiffa to get in touch as officers and her family want to make sure she is safe and well.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Enquiries by officers have been ongoing and are now appealing to the public for information, as there is concern for her safety after family haven’t seen her for nearly a week despite contact via phone during this time."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 or directly on 0161 856 7821.
