Police launch urgent appeal for after pensioner, 86, is reported missing

An urgent search has been launched to find a pensioner who was reported missing on Monday afternoon.

William Wilson, 86,was last seen at his home in Clarkston at around 3.45pm on Monday.

Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "We are appealing for information which could help trace an 86-year-old man who has been reported missing from his home in Clarkston.

"William Wilson was last seen around 3.45pm on Monday, 30 May in the Ashfield Road area.

"He is described as being white, 6ft 3in tall and of thin build with white hair.

"He was wearing a green anorak, grey trousers, a green hat and glasses.

"Anyone with information or who believes they have seen William is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2957 of 30 May."
