Police launch search for missing Scots teen who vanished two days ago

Police have launched a frantic search to find a teen who vanished two days ago.

Officers say that Leon Stewart, 17, from the Bargeddie area of North Lanarkshire, was last seen about 8:30am, Sunday, February 26.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts has been urged to contact police.

Leon is descried as 5ft 8in, with red curly hair, wearing a grey top, grey trousers, and black trainers, and is known to frequent areas in Coatbridge, Glasgow and Balloch.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Leon since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 4192 of 26th February 2023."
