Police launch probe after housebreaking incident in Dumbarton

Police have launched an appeal for information after items were stolen from a house in Dumbarton.

Between 12am and 4.05am on Wednesday, June 22 2022, two men broke into a property on Mary Fisher Crescent. Enquiries are ongoing to establish what exactly has been stolen.

Detective Constable Catriona MacQueen, of Clydebank CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed two men acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone who was in the area with dash cam or private CCTV footage to contact police.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 0373 of 22 June. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where you can give your information anonymously.
