Police launch probe after Dumbarton pub incident leaves man with head injuries

Police have launched a probe after a man suffered head injuries following a brawl at a Dumbarton bar.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the incident at the venue on Riverside Lane just before midnight on Friday December 23.

A number of people were involved in the incident and one man is believed to have suffered a head injury.

However, all involved left the area before officers arrived, and an investigation into the incident is now ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Lindsay said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward.

“You can call 101, quoting reference 4235 of 23 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
