British police have initiated a manhunt following the discovery of two suitcases containing human remains on England's Clifton Suspension Bridge, as reported by Avon and Somerset Police on Thursday.
The police were alerted at 11:57 p.m. local time on Wednesday regarding a man behaving suspiciously with a suitcase on the bridge located in the city of Bristol in the southwest of England. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found that the man had vanished, but two suitcases containing human remains were left behind.
As of now, the authorities have not been able to identify either the man or the deceased individual. Initial investigations have revealed that the man in question had taken a taxi to the bridge before the unsettling discovery was made.
The primary focus for the police at this moment is to track down the individual who transported the suitcases to the bridge, establish the identity of the deceased, and notify their next of kin about the tragic incident.
