Workers at a recycling plant discovered 'body parts' in a skip on Monday morning (October 31). Staff working at Skelton Skips, on Knowsthorpe Way, Leeds made the discovery just before 10am.
A huge police presence attended the scene, as forensic officers were called to 'asses the remains and establish the circumstances' according to West Yorkshire Police. Pictures from the scene showed numerous police vehicles parked outside the recycling plant.
Crime scene investigators have been at the site of the recycling plant throughout Monday, reports the Mirror. No further details about the incident have been confirmed yet, but an investigation is underway.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 9.57am today, police received a report of human remains having been found at a waste recycling firm, in Knowsthorpe Way, Leeds.
"Officers are attending the scene to assess the remains and establish the circumstances.”
