Police launch fresh appeal to trace men thought to be involved in pub smash up after Killie / Motherwell game

Police have released images of six men they want to speak to over a pub disturbance after the Killie vs. Motherwell league match in August.

Described as a “serious disturbance,” the incident took place in The Clansman Bar on Kilmarnock's John Finnie Street around 5pm, after the match.

A barmaid was attacked, while bottles were launched, with windows smashed - the incident is said to have caused “thousands of pounds worth of damage”.

Now officers have launched an investigation and believe the individuals pictured may hold information which could assist in their ongoing enquiries.

The first man is described as being of slim build with fair hair, wearing a light blue jumper, checked shirt, and dark jeans.

The second man is described as being of stocky build with dark hair, wearing an orange Stone Island T-shirt, black shorts, and burgundy Adidas trainers.

The third man is described as being of slim build with fair hair, wearing a white T-shirt with dark trousers.

The incident occurred on John Finnie Street at around 5pm (Police Scotland)

The fourth man is described as being of slim build with short hair, wearing a black jumper, blue jeans, a silk scarf, and sunglasses with orange lenses.

Anyone who has any information relating to the six men should contact police (Police Scotland)

The fifth man is described as wearing a black T-shirt with yellow accents, a blue jacket tied around his body, black trousers, and burgundy trainers with yellow accents.

Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting reference number 2562 of 27 August (Police Scotland)

The sixth man is described as of stocky build with brown hair, wearing a black T- shirt, and a dark jacket.
