Police launch appeal to trace teen, 16, missing from Paisley

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a teenager missing from Paisley.

Lewis Thorpe, 16, was last seen around 3pm yesterday (Sunday) on Greenock Road, Paisley.

He is described as white British, 5ft 8in tall, slim build, short brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, dark jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Police Constable Hamilton, from Paisley Police Office said: "We have growing concerns for Lewis and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Anyone who may have seen Lewis or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2960 of January 30."
