Police launch appeal to trace man last seen near Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital

An appeal has been launched to trace a man who has gone missing from Paisley.

Police are seeking assistance from the public in helping to trace Barry McCullagh.

The 40-year-old, who lives in Castlemilk, Glasgow, was last seen on Corsebar Road near the Royal Alexandra Hospital around 5.20 pm on Wednesday night.

He is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build and has short black hair.

Police say that, when last seen, he was wearing black and navy jogging bottoms, a black soft shell jacket and grey and white trainers.

Sergeant Paul Connelly of Paisley police station, said: “Both police and Barry’s family are concerned for his welfare as he has not been in touch with anyone since yesterday.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information about where he is to get in touch with police via 101. Please quote reference number 3910 of Wednesday, 5 October 2022, when calling.

“We’d also appeal to Barry himself to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.”
