Police launch appeal to trace 55-year-old man missing from Lanark

Police have launched an appeal to trace a missing Lanarkshire man who was last seen on Friday.

Matthew Cosgrove was reported missing from the Lanark area.

The 55-year-old was last spotted at around 12pm on Friday, February 24.

Officers are urging the public to get in touch with any information on his whereabouts.

Matthew is described as 5ft 6in, with short red/auburn hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a white baseball cap, black biker style jacket, red chino trousers and black shoes.

A police source told us: "Anyone who may have seen Matthew since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101."

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
