Police launch appeal following armed robbery at betting shop in Croydon

Police have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a betting shop in Croydon.

A man toting a gun burst into the bookmakers last October before approaching the counter and demanding money.

The suspect, described as a black male aged between 35 to 40, left the shop with a quantity of cash.

No injuries were reported but one woman was treated for shock by the London Ambulance Service.

Any witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to police or anyone with any information is asked to call 101 or contact via twitter @MetCC quoting 5386/31OCT21.
