Police have issued a warning after youths were spotted walking along the M62 over the weekend.
Officers said they received 'a number of reports' about the youngsters on the motorway on Saturday and Sunday. Police said this causes a 'massive danger' to them and to drivers on the road.
They urged parents to make children aware of the dangers. Motorists who spot people walking along a motorway should call 999 or 101.
