Police have issued an update after a house was cordoned off.
A cordon was put in place around a house at the top of Morningside Road in Norris Green, near to the junction with Muirhead Avenue. Residents reported seeing police at the scene at around 1am on Monday (May 8), with two Matrix vans blocking the road.
Photos showed a cordon stretching around the front of the house and across a set of steps leading up to Muirhead Avenue. Forensics were also seen searching the house.

One neighbour said: "I've never seen so many police in my life. It's scary when it's right on your doorstep." Another resident said people were often coming and going from the house where the cordon was put in place.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said today a 32-year-old woman was arrested following a report of an alleged assault in the early hours of Monday, May 8.
The suspect has since been bailed pending further enquiries and the investigation is ongoing.
