The death of a man in a home in St Ann's is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.
Police set up a multiple cordons in Luther Close after finding a body at around 9am on Tuesday, March 8.
Detectives and forensics were in attendance as an investigation was launched to establish the circumstances around the death.
At the time, some members of the community told Nottinghamshire Live they were 'frightened' for their safety.
However, following a post mortem examination, Nottinghamshire Police said that the death was not suspicious, and that the man died from natural causes.
Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "A Home Office post-mortem examination has since been carried out and confirmed the man died from natural causes.
“Our thoughts remain with this man’s family and friends. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
