A 30-strong group of men attacked another man in a shocking street brawl which was caught on camera. Police have issued an update on the assault, which took place in Bolton on Friday evening.
A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with what police described as 'minor injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing' following the attack on Deane Road at about 5pm. A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

As the Manchester Evening News reported earlier today, footage of the attack was circulated online. In it a man is seen approaching another person, before another figure then appears to jump on him and punch him.
Someone then steps in and tries to split the fight up, then others are seen throwing punches. One witness said: "It was a fist fight. I don't exactly know what happened. I just decided to call the police and help the guy out."
Supt Richard Thompson said: "I am pleased with the quick action from officers who arrived on scene and took appropriate action to bring the matter to a swift conclusion. Thankfully no one was seriously injured but Greater Manchester Police will not tolerate violent disorder.
"We are pursuing lines of inquiry to piece together the circumstances surrounding this incident and are aware of videos circulating online showing this attack."
