A man is in hospital following an attack in Arnold on Saturday evening. The victim was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries that are not considered to be life-altering or life-threatening. A second man received minor injuries in the same incident but did not require hospital treatment.
The incident happened at around 8pm on Saturday, July 9 in Coppice Road, Arnold.
Police remain at the scene on Sunday morning and a cordon remains in place at an alleyway between Coppice Road and Birchfield Road while officer explore a number of lines of enquiry.
Detective Inspector Daniel Johnstone, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are currently investigating reports of an assault and would like to speak to anybody who was in the area at the time and may have seen something.
“We believe there were a number of witnesses and I would urge anyone who saw what happened to please come forward.
“We are also keen to trace anyone who was driving in the area and might have dash cam footage that could assist our enquiries.”
