Two men were injured in an attack at a newly-opened city nightclub. The incident inside Ghost - which opened in December in a building which also houses Spankies bar in Goldsmith Street - was reported in the early hours of Sunday (February 12).
Inspector Paul Gummer, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "The incident happened at around 2.15am and resulted in two men sustaining injuries that aren’t believed to be life-altering. Enquiries are still ongoing to establish exactly what happened, so we’d ask anyone who witnessed this incident or has any other information to contact us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 80 of February 12. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Described as "Nottingham's number one luxury, high end nightclub" on its official Facebook page, the Ghost opening night took place on December 17. It has opened next to Spankies, at Goldsmith Street's junction with Talbot Street, which remains open and is understood to be separate to the nightclub.
Balloons adorn the main entrance to Ghost, indicating its new arrival. The wider building was also previously Albert's bar and, before that, Spanky Van Dyke's. Nottinghamshire Live has attempted to contact Ghost nightclub for comment.
