Police issue image after reports of man committing sex act on train

Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to after reports of a man masturbating on a train between England and Wales.

Officers from British Transport Police are investigation after allegations about a passenger on a train from Manchester Piccadilly to Swansea. The incident was reported to have happened at around 9.50pm on Sunday, May 7.

A statement from BTP said a man boarded the train at Hereford and sat adjacent to the victim. It added: "She could see the man was masturbating, before he left the train at Cardiff Central."

Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any information, contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2300052279.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
