Police are appealing for information after a crash left a 13-year-old boy in hospital. The incident along St Martin's Road in Caerphilly took place at around 2.40pm on Friday, March 31.
Police and the ambulance service attended the scene following the incident which involved a car, a van and the teenage pedestrian. The road was closed while the incident was ongoing and the 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment.
Gwent Police officers arrested two women who were both travelling in the van on suspicion of causing injury through careless driving and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.

A 51-year-old woman from the Cardiff area was later released on conditional bail, while a 41-year-old woman from the Caerphilly was released without charge. Officers investigating the collision now want witnesses to come forward to assist with their investigation.
