Police issue appeal after man stabbed in Cardiff

South Wales Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Cardiff. Officers say they received reports that a 26-year-old man had been stabbed at Brymfedw, Pentwyn on Thursday, July 21.

The incident happened at 1.30am and police were called by University Hospital Wales in Cardiff. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police are now appealing for anyone with any information or footage in relation to the incident to contact them.

DS Kath Barry said on Wednesday: “South Wales Police was called by University Hospital Wales at 1.30am on Thursday July 21, following reports that a 26-year-old man had been stabbed at Brymfedw, Pentwyn that evening. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

“Arrest and investigation enquiries are continuing to ascertain the full circumstances of the incident.”
