An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was discovered on a beach in East Lothian.
Police were called to the beach near Longniddry around 11.20am on Friday morning after the body was found.
The surrounding area was cordoned off to allow officers to carry out investigations into the death which is currently being treated as 'unexplained'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on December 9, police received a report a man’s body had been found on the beach near Longniddry, East Lothian.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries.”
