Ayrshire police have launched an investigation after a woman and her dog were attacked by another dog.
The incident happened on Harbour Street in Irvine and cops are carrying out enquiries.
Passers-by witnessed the attack near the beach at around 7.45pm on Tuesday, April 25.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45pm on Tuesday, April 25, police received a report of a dog attacking a woman and another dog in the Harbour Street area of Irvine.
“Enquiries are ongoing."
