Police are investigating an early-morning shooting at the Brisbane home of heavyweight boxer Justis Huni.
At least five shots were fired into the Sunnybank Hills home on Goorong Street at 4am, police said.
Officers were called to the scene after reports of loud noises and vehicles driving off at speed.
They then returned at 7am after it was discovered bullets had gone through the front windows and into the house.
Ten people, including a six-month-old baby, were at home at the time, Mr Huni's media manager Sean Lawson said.
He said the family was uninjured and was not aware of a motive.
Speaking out the front of the home this morning, the boxer and his father expressed shock at the incident.
Rocki Huni described hearing rapid-fire shots.
"We've got our grandkids with us and that's where they sit feeding the baby.
"Everyone is still pretty shaken up, we don't know really know what to do at the minute.
"Do we still stay here, do we go? Hopefully we can get a result soon."
Shooting comes days before big fight
Justis Huni said the shooting would not distract him as he prepared for a match next Wednesday in Brisbane against 2014 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Joseph Goodall.
"You get your house shot at, you're going to be a little bit shocked but after it happened we still went to training, we still got the sparring done, so my focus is still at next Wednesday," he said.
"I'm just thankful that everyone is all good and we are all healthy, no-one got hurt."
Wednesday's fight is a significant step on Huni's path to a world heavyweight title, with both Huni and Goodall currently undefeated.
It is also Huni's first time back in the ring in 12 months, since he sensationally defeated Paul Gallen in June last year before an injury pulled him out of Olympic contention.
Neighbour Luke Maunder said the sound of the shots woke him up but he did not see anything.
He said the Hunis are "excellent" neighbours.
"Who knows what it's about? It could be about boxing it could just be a random thing. I don't know," Mr Maunder said.
