Police investigating M5 motorbike crash in Taunton want to find woman who helped

Police are appealing to find a woman who helped an injured motorcyclist after a crash at a junction along the M5.

The motorcyclist, riding a yellow Yamaha, was taken to hospital with a broken collarbone after the collision in Taunton on Friday (May 20). He has since been discharged.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesperson said: "A white Volkswagen Polo exiting Blackbrook Park Avenue and a motorbike that was coming off the M5 at junction 25 collided at the motorway roundabout at about 2.10pm.

"We’re keen to hear from any witnesses or other motorists with dashcam, in particular a woman who stopped to help the motorcyclist at the scene but did not provide any contact details."
