A man has been found dead inside a unit that was on fire at Parkside in Adelaide's inner south.
The fire broke out the man's residence in the upper level of a block of units on Blyth Street just before 4:30pm on Sunday.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze before it could spread to adjoining units.
They found the 54-year-old man inside.
One neighbour told ABC News the man had moved into the property less than a year ago.
Police and fire cause investigators are looking into the cause of the fire and will prepare a report for the coroner.
The Metropolitan Fire Service said the fire caused about $100,000 damage.
