Police investigating after smash and grab robbery at Bolton jewellers

Police are investigating after two men burgled a jewellers in Bolton.

According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) the men forced their way into Kinners Jewellers, in Brackley Street, Farnworth, and stole some jewellery.

They then sped off in a red Suzuki.

The front of the shop was also damaged during the incident, GMP confirmed.

A GMP spokesman said: "At around 2.15am on Friday 19 November 2021, police were called to reports of a burglary at a jewellers on Brackley Street, Farnworth.

"Enquiries have established that two men forced entry, causing damage to the shop front.

"They made off in a red Suzuki with a quantity of jewellery.

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."

Anyone with information should contact police on 01618565757, quoting incident number 238 of 19/11/21.
