Police in Midlothian are investigating reports of a serious sexual assault in woodlands near Edinburgh.
The teenager was reportedly attacked on Saturday February 11.
The force say that the 18-year old victim was targeted at Waverley Park Pavilion, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian at around 1.30am, reports the Daily Record.

Police Scotland have now launched a probe into the incident and say that they are 'following a positive line of enquiry.'
Officers, including members of the forensics team, are believed to have been in the area since yesterday morning.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We received a report that an 18-year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted around 1.30am, near to Waverley Park Pavilion, Bonnyrigg, on Saturday, 11 February, 2023.
“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
