Police investigate reports driver is on dangerous rampage deliberately ramming other vehicles in Swansea Bay

There have been reports of a car being driven dangerously and deliberately hitting a number of vehicles across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot counties today.

South Wales Police said it had received numerous reports and was working to identify the suspects.

It was called just before 8:25am this morning, Friday March 11, following reports of two cars having been deliberately hit by another vehicle in Chemical Road, Morriston.

A spokesperson added: "We received a number of further reports of vehicles being hit in the Skewen, Neath Abbey and Sandfields areas. Investigations are continuing to ascertain the full circumstances behind the incidents and to identify suspects."

People across Swansea took to local Facebook groups to share their concerns and warn drivers to stay off the road.

One post read: "Just wondering if anyone was on the Harvester roundabout this morning and seen a Kia Sportage reverse back up onto roundabout from A465 reversing into someone at 9 o’clock this morning."

Another account said: "They’re literally ramming into cars and driving at people. They’ve been from the Quays in Swansea, through Skewen, Neath Abbey, Plasmarl, Fabian way and they’re now in Aberavon and the car is so damaged they’ve changed vehicles and carried on! They had the other car waiting so this has obviously been planned!

Anyone with information in relation to any of the incidents is asked to contact South Wales Police by quoting occurrence number 2200080980.
