Paisley police are investigating after a crossbow was fired at a house in Gallowhill at the weekend.
The incident happened just after 9pm on Saturday, May 21.
The householder found a spiked object lodged in a window in Arkleston Drive in Paisley.

Fortunately no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Police believe it was a crossbow and are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to get in touch.
Sergeant Jason Cooper said: “Fortunately, no one was injured but the householder was left frightened by what happened and we are eager to trace whoever was responsible.
“If anyone saw anything suspicious around the time of this incident or has information that could help with our ongoing enquiries then please get in touch.
“You can contact officers via 101, quoting incident number 3578 of Saturday, 21 May, 2022, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
