Police 'increasingly concerned' for teenage boy, 14, last seen in Tameside two weeks ago

Police are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a missing teenager who was last seen in Tameside two weeks ago.

Malachi, 14, from South Manchester, was last seen on Boodle Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, at around 12.05pm on Wednesday, January 12.

He is described as being 5ft 8in tall and of a slim build with curly black hair.

Officers said he was last seen wearing a white England top, black pants, socks and sliders with one black jacket and a khaki jacket.

He was also carrying a blue bag at the time of his disappearance.

Police said they have carried out extensive enquiries since Malachi was first reported missing.

They are now appealing for the public’s assistance in trying to track down his whereabouts.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “Malachi, aged 14, was last seen on Boodle Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside at around 12.05pm on Wednesday 12 January 2022.

“He is described as being 5ft 8in tall and of a slim build with curly black hair. Malachi was last seen wearing a white England top, black pants, socks and sliders with one black jacket and one khaki jacket. He was carrying a blue bag.

“After carrying out extensive enquiries since Malachi was reported missing, officers are becoming increasingly concerned about him and want to make sure he is safe and well.”
