Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing man, 29, who 'could have injuries'

Officers have issued an urgent appeal for help finding a missing man who was last seen in the early hours of this morning. Greater Manchester Police says Rian Hayden was last seen in Burnage at around 6.15am today (May 15).

Rian, from south Manchester, had been seen on Green End Road at that time. GMP says the 29-year-old, whose name is pronounced Ryan, could have visible injuries to his arms or face.

He is described as 6ft 8ins tall, of slim build and with dark hair and some facial hair. Rian was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit with a dark jacket and fur-lined hood, and wearing Puma trainers.

Police are growing concerned for Rian's welfare. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact GMP immediately, while anyone who sees Rian is also asked to contact the force.

A spokesperson for GMP added: "Although Rian is not believed to be a risk to the wider public, rather than approaching him please contact police with any sightings. He may have some visible injuries to his arms and/or face. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Rian and want to make sure he is safe and well."

Anyone with information can contact police on 0161 856 6086, report it online at the force's website, or call 101. Alternatively, information can be passed on anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by phoning 0800 555 111.
