Police in Lanarkshire launch appeal to trace missing 14-year-old

Police Scotland are appealing for information in helping them trace a missing Rutherglen teenager.

Officers are asking anyone with any information that may help in helping them to trace missing 14-year old Billy Lickrish.

The teen was last seen at around 2am on Thursday, April 6 at his home address in Drumreoch Place.

Billy is described as around 5ft 2ins, of medium build with short, curly, blonde hair.

When last seen he was wearing a dark grey hoodie, a Rangers FC top, black joggers and grey trainers.

Sergeant Eddie Cairns told Lanarkshire Live : “Billy has been missing before but he has not been in touch with his family for some time and concerns are growing.

"I am asking anyone who has seen Billy or who might know where he is to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
