Police are hunting a thug who allegedly threatened a teenager with a knife during an assault with intent to rob.
The incident is said to have taken place around 10.50am on Friday, January 20, when the 19-year-old victim was allegedly approached on a woodland footpath in the Lennoxtown area.
The alleged assault unfolded on part of the John Muir Walk at the back of Calico Way and left the victim 'badly shaken' but uninjured.

The suspect is described as white, around 6ft 4ins, aged 20 to 30-years-old and spoke with an English accent. He was wearing a dark coloured Adidas tracksuit and a black hat pulled down to conceal his face.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1231 of Friday, 20 January, 2023, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
