Police hunt Paisley park creep who exposed himself to woman dog walker

Police are hunting a flasher who exposed himself in a Paisley park in broad daylight.

The man approached a female dog walker in Durrockstock Park on Sunday morning and exposed his genitals.

Officers say the 65-year-old woman has been left shaken by the incident.

Police also confirmed they don’t believe the incident is connected to a serious sexual assault which took place in the same park last year.

Officers in the area are urging all those who were in the park and may have seen a man acting suspiciously to get in touch with them.

A spokesperson from the Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division yesterday told the Paisley Daily Express: “The incident was reported at 11.15am on Sunday, March 12.

“A 65-year-old female was walking her dogs through Durrockstock Park when she was made aware of a male behind her and, on turning round, the male exposed himself to her.

“The shaken female made her way home and contacted the police.”

The spokesperson added: “We think there were other people in the park at that time and we’re appealing for anybody who saw or might know anything about this incident or has information to come forward.

“Please get in touch via phone on 101 quoting incident number 1284 of March 12. Alternatively, if you wish to report anonymously then you can do so via Crimestoppers.”
